Hear from industry professionals on branding, building codes, post-frame sales opportunities and the steel market.
In today’s marketplace, people often know who you are before you ever shake their hand. Randy will explore how building a strong personal and professional brand, staying visible, and consistently engaging with your industry can build trust and create opportunities before the sales conversation begins. He’ll also discuss the value of associations, and why simply joining isn’t enough if you’re not actively engaged.
Navigating building code in Indiana requires a clear understanding of how the IBC and IRC classify project uses, ranging from residential barndominiums to Group U utility spaces and commercial facilities. Successfully permitting these structures hinges on knowing when a project triggers mandatory state IDHS plan review, how to leverage PE Self-Releases for accelerated approvals, and how to properly align engineering requirements across design professionals. By mastering the coordination between your Engineer of Record, component manufacturers, and state reviewers, contractors can eliminate costly red-tags, avoid project delays, and protect their business from liability.
