Re: Hot Air Welding Safety Training (HAWT)
Hot Air Welding has unique aspects that call for specific Safety Training. To meet that need, Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) has developed the Hot Air Welding (HAWT) Safety Training Program.
HAWT is a simple 2 hour (3 hour for becoming a certified Trainer) classroom training for applicators.
It provides you and your employees with a HAWT three-year certification card that shows you have provided specific safety training for Hot Air Welding, and that you as an employer, have taken extra steps to keep your employees injury free. Which is also a factor with OSHA and your Workers Compensation coverage provider.
Immediately following the HAWT Class, all are invited to the ORCA Regional Meeting, being held at the Top Golf facility only a block from the site of the HAWT classroom. There, class participants can enjoy Top Golf fun, food and beverages FREE!!
Use the attached form to register your people for the HAWT Training Class; and to attend the ORCA Regional Meeting.
Feel free to call myself (937) 604-4604; or Jack White of the MRCA staff (937) 545-7511 if you need registration assistance; and if you have any questions about the HAWT program. You can also learn more about HAWT on the MRCA website (www.mrca.org)
